Elizabeth Dohrer is a native Utahn who moved to Oregon for its beauty and political climate. She and her family were previously members of Congregational United Church of Christ in Ogden, Utah, where they enjoyed a strong sense of community with fellow believers working on social justice issues. Finding a similar UCC church in their new home is a gift. Elizabeth holds two degrees from Weber State University, one in accounting, and one in English. She has worked in banking and as an editor. She is married and has three daughters, two grandchildren, and a mutt named Jack.
