About the event
This is an opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about our congregation - First Congregational Church UCC in Salem, OR - the wider United Church of Christ, our history and future to come together for these classes. If you are interested in exploring membership, these classes are for you!
Each session will be an hour with lots of time for Q&A.
Week 1: Who We Are - an overview of UCC Salem, our history and beliefs.
Week 2: Our Connections - the wider UCC, our covenant with the larger church family, and our ecumenical ties.
Week 3: Where Are We Going - a conversation about the work on being a Resurrecting Church for today.
Week 4: How You Fit In - this is where you get to share your story and discover how we can learn and serve together.
