We encourage questions, we honor differences of opinion, and we celebrate our similarities. Acknowledging our commitment to the Way of Jesus as told in the gospels, we support each individual’s spiritual journey. Though our understandings of God are varied, we describe the Holy One as mysterious, tenacious, unconditionally-loving, genderless, forgiving and the source of all that is. And, we believe that…
GOD IS STILL SPEAKING.
Visitors are always welcome, whether you are familiar with church, or are exploring spiritual community for the very first time. On Sunday mornings, our 9:00 am spiritual practice circle offers a warm and welcoming small-group experience for newcomers and old-timers alike. Our 10:30 Sunday worship service invites you to come as you are and dip a toe into the waters of joyful worship in all-ages, beloved community.
If you like to sing, our Chancel Choir always welcomes newcomers of all voices and abilities. For more information, please contact Choir Director Sam Bilinowich.
At First Congregational Church, infants, children and youth are always welcome to stay with the congregation in worship, and in all our shared life. On Sunday mornings, we also offer nursery care for children ages five and under, along with Sunday school for children and youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
